I choose this picture as to define africa because at first i had a different perspective of Africa unitl i herd the otherside than just what the media tries to say is going on over there. Most people would lthink that africa is all about poverty, death, war, diseases, and not friendly. When in reality some areas of Africa have wealth, and greet with a hand shake while makeing eye contact and giveing a warm welcome. Some African's have their own businessess and some have cell phones and internet.

Syrian Freedom Fighter
It is amazing how blogs written by Syrain Freedom Fighers are willing to go to get what they have to say out there. They should be aknowledged for the courage they have to fight for their rights. For living in Syria it can change a person especially if it is at war because it can make a person have to fight for what they believe in. I don't think i could be a Syrian Freedom Fighter only because it is something that i would have to live through eveyday known the decision that i would have to make. Now as for Big Al he is doing something very amazing and is risking his life. Knowing how much he posts and it doesn't seem that many people are realizing it that he is putting out his thoughts for others to see what is all going on in Syria from his point of view from being there. If I could write to Big Al or Syrain Freedom Fighter i would tell that they are brave for what they are trying to fight for but I'm sorry that many of the protest that they do to try to speak out can end up violent.
If i could write a letter to them i would ask them:
1. What would you want to change in your country and how would you plan on doing that?
2. With all the bloodshed is what you are fighting for worth it?
3. If you got a change to say something to your government what would you say to him?
4. Do you ever feel like giving up?
5. What is it like living in such a war zone?
6. Do you think their will ever be a change, to where your voices will be herd?

Peace and Coexitance
Right now with all the conflicts between Israel and the Arabs I don't think that they will ever to reach to a agreement to have peace. Most of Arab's population are under the age of 30 years old, so some could argue that there is a slight chance that they could reach peace. It also seems that due to the difference in their religious and culture they can't come to an agreement. It can even b possible that if they don't come to some kind of conclusion or peace that they could try to destroy one another. It can even come down to that from international countries trying to help with aid isn't really helping much either.

Nuclear Rights and Redlines
Iran does have have enemies mostly the U.S. and Israel, which they could use to their benefits which can become a concern. Iran should have the right to nuclear technology but it can be nervous to people because you never know what their next moved could turn out to be. Many other countries have nuclear weapons so why shouldn't Iran but they should only use if necessary like in war, but otherwise Iran would have to follow the regulations and if they don't agree then action need to be taken. We have used nuclear weapons against other countries so why shouldn't they get to. As for red line for me would be if they were developing to go after undefeated nations. It would be scary if all countries had nuclear weapons because you would have to watch over your shoulder all the time. It would just be easier if there were no nuclear weapons in the would and just have all countries keep an eye on each other. Also it would be okay if Iran uses it nuclear as for power but if they made a direct threat against Israel or the U.S. then take action.

Cyberspace in Iran
Many of the youth in Iran right now with being able to circumvent restrictions as the years go by im sure they will be able to use technology to communicate with each other and the outside world and it'll probably get more advanced. I think the Iranian youth could tell and try to show that not all Iranian's are the same and that they aren't all America haters. That many of the Iranians don't agree with everything that their government says and does with laws. My view on the internet use and internet freedom i would say that the youth in America are lucky that we can post and search just about anything unlike how in Iran they control what they can post, search, and talked about and to other countries.

Punk Shoes
If i was stopped because i was wearing punk shoes and all of the punk stuff that she was wearing, i can't really for sure i would act. I know that i would try to obey the law in Iran but if i did know the law and went there i probably have done the same thing that she did. I don't know i guess that many of the girls that have the courage to help him out and some that will just go with the laws. It seems it would be hard to tell who is all for the laws and who isn't because no one really wants to get arrested or executed.

My definition of Middle East
I don't really have my own definition of the Middle East only because I've like never focused in classes that ever talked about other countries. The most i can say about Middle East I know would be about the 9/11 attack and war in Iraq and that is about it..
